Who can use it

You must be 18 or over, use your own UK mobile number, and have only one account. If we have reason to think someone is under 18, we will close their account.

What you can’t post or do

  • Anything illegal — including child sexual abuse material (we report it to the National Crime Agency), terrorist content, threats, and selling illegal goods.
  • Sexual content or nudity, including sending sexual images to people who didn’t ask for them.
  • Intimate images of anyone without their consent, including fakes and edited images.
  • Harassment, bullying, stalking or intimidation — including tracking someone, or posting where another person is, lives or works without their agreement.
  • Other people’s private information — their address, number, documents, screens, car number plates, or photos of them taken without their knowledge in private places.
  • Threats or encouraging violence, and content that encourages suicide or self-harm.
  • Hate — attacking people because of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity or similar characteristics.
  • Spam, scams and fraud, impersonating someone, or selling or advertising things.
  • Photos you don’t have the right to share. Post your own photos.

Be thoughtful about other people

If other people are clearly in your photo, make sure they’re happy to be shared — especially if your post shows where they are. Delete a post if someone asks you to.

What happens if someone breaks the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the post, send a warning, suspend the account for a period (1 to 30 days) or ban it permanently. Banned numbers can’t sign up again. Illegal content may be reported to the police or the National Crime Agency. You can appeal any decision — see our complaints and appeals procedure.
